The Conduite

Origin

Vocabulary borrowed from the stage manager's trade at the Roaring Twenties cabarets (Folies Bergère, Casino de Paris). The "script book" listed every cue in order, from curtain up to curtain down.

Definition

The orchestrated workflow of Synedre OS. A Conduite is an ordered sequence of steps — called "cues" — versioned and traced. Each cue is either an agent cue (creative reasoning) or an automaton cue (deterministic execution). The Stage Manager (the Atlas orchestrator) reads the Conduite and executes cues one by one, from curtain up to curtain down. It is the third pillar of the founding triptych: the Agent thinks, the Automaton executes, the Conduite orchestrates.

Example

"Publishing an article is a Conduite: cue 1 (agent writes), cue 2 (automaton generates the cover), cue 3 (automaton inserts in DB), cue 4 (agent validates the render). A fully traced representation end-to-end."
