Sovereign family assistant — open source

The problem

The home assistant you cannot trust.

Consumer assistants — Alexa, Google Home, the big chatbots — run on someone else’s servers, under the CLOUD Act, trained on what you say. Inviting one into your home is renting a microphone you do not control. There was no sovereign alternative: an assistant that knows your household intimately yet keeps every word at home.

The architecture

The same engine, turned toward the home.

Corbie is Synedre applied to the intimate: one Nuxt 4 process, PostgreSQL 17 with pgvector for a household memory that grows, runnable on your own EU server. A team of named domain agents — kitchen, finance, education, a listening ear — share that memory. The same one-process, one-deploy architecture as CodeMyShop, sized for a family instead of a shop.

What it does

Installable PWA

Adds to the home screen like a native app, with a sovereign service worker that never caches your private data.

Biometric unlock

Passkey (WebAuthn) on your own device — no password, no third-party identity provider.

A household memory

Members, pets, environment, goals — held in your database, queried by the agents, never sent out to train a model.

European model

The reasoning runs on a European model, never trained on your conversations. Your home stays your home.

Sovereignty

Your home, your server, your words.

The same three guarantees as CodeMyShop, applied to the most private vertical there is.

1

Data

Your household memory lives in PostgreSQL on a server you control. No surveillance, no CLOUD Act, nothing leaves the home.

2

Code

AGPL-3.0 — auditable and self-hostable. You can read exactly what the assistant does before trusting it with your family.

3

Trust

European model, never trained on your conversations, biometric access. The assistant serves the household, not an advertising market.

Proof of doctrine

Why this validates Synedre.

CodeMyShop proves the engine ships commerce. Corbie proves it fits the intimate. The same council of agents, the same structured memory, the same sovereignty — pointed at a family instead of a market. One engine, two worlds: the whole thesis of Synedre, demonstrated rather than argued.
