Pool

/[pul]/n.

Origin

From the English pool, signifying a bounded aggregation of shared resources and competencies. In Synedre, it embodies a contractual governance envelope tying agents to strict budgetary, iterative, and qualitative success criteria.

Definition

A bounded governance, budgeting, and arbitration envelope bound to an execution arm. Exactly one pool may run per arm at any time. A pool enforces hard financial limits in euros (max_cost_eur), a maximum round quota, designated leadership (chef), an impartial evaluator (juge), and machine-readable stopping criteria stored as structured JSONB.

Example

An accessibility audit pool operates in arm B4 with a 5 euro cap and Braille assigned as judge, automatically closing once all compliance criteria are formally validated.
