VPS4
/[ve.pe.ɛs.katʁ]/n.Origin
Infrastructure inventory designation for the fourth-generation virtual server host. Has become the operational proper noun for Synedre's physical command center.
Definition
The central host and material Mothership of Synedre. Hosted on high-capacity infrastructure (12 vCPUs, 32 GB RAM), VPS4 runs the core cognitive engine (Shyrka), agent orchestration (Atlas), the canonical PostgreSQL/pgvector database (ac_hub), the Hub Pro dashboard, and all system background daemons and cron schedules. Protected by a non-negotiable P0 rule prohibiting any client web host or proxy from running on it, VPS4 remains strictly dedicated to internal operations and governance.
Example
Automated monitoring sweeps, agent reasoning sessions, and database migrations are initiated from VPS4, ensuring centralized governance while keeping client production nodes completely decoupled.
